This heater would be perfect for that type of situation.

This is definitely small enough to hide! It is quiet but does still make a hum noise from the fan. It heats up a small area nicely, and the power consumption is quite low (the main reason I chose it personally).

It is pretty quiet. I can't tell that it is on most of the time. You should be able to hide this from co-workers, even from just a few feet away.

Sorry this will not work for you. It's not super loud but definitely can hear the fan on the unit when it's running.
