Can the bike be operated on the throttle alone? null

Yes use the plus / minus key to put in level 5 and it's throttle only. Pretty cool. The pedal assist is fun as well as you can barely press pedals and it takes off

Hi John. The XPeak2 can be operated with only throttle though this does effect the top speed and range.
