Yes — you can use the Lectron Tesla To J1772 EV Charging Adapter – NACS Converter, 48 Amp (or similar Lectron Tesla-to-J1772 adapter) to charge your BMW i5 from a Tesla home wall charger for regular Level 2 (AC) charging at home — as long as it’s the standard Tesla Wall Connector or other Tesla AC charger and you’re charging at home or at a destination charger. The adapter converts the Tesla plug (NACS) to the J1772 plug used by the i5, so the car and charger can communicate for normal AC charging.
