• Yes, this can work with a land line but she would need a smart phone for the initial setup.

• A mobile device running android or iOS is required for setup ofnrhe Lenovo smart display. Video chat only works using google duo, which may also require a mobile device to setup(I’m not 100% sure about this part, I don’t use the video chat function).
