• NO! The sound on this model is terrible. If you want to buy Lenovo go with a 310 series.

• I wouldn't suggest movies, as the loudest volume is still really low and very hard to hear......that hasn't been an issue to me because I use mine mostly for writing, email and social media.

• A lot will depend on your internet connection speed for streaming movies. Given a fast connection speed you will be able to stream movies on this device.

• I had no problem watching HD movies on it. The speaker is terrible; I'd highly recommend headphones for movie watching.
