Is the battery for the laptop internal or external? null

The battery is both in a way.. Its external because its seperate in its own case, but it is connected to the laptop in way that makes if very difficult to replace. Basically a lot of the laptop has to be disasembled just to change it (Thanks to LENOVO for making this process intentionally more difficult to the customer).

It's an internal battery, not easily replaced. The bottom base needs to be removed, which requires the top palm rest to be removed, as well as the optical drive. Not a job for a beginner.
