• built in speakers are ok. but you can hook up headphones or really nice speakers with the 3.5 headphone jack.

• The laptop will definitely function well for music playback and music editing without a hiccup, but the single speaker at the bottom of the unit is very poor. It is recommended to get speakers or headphones for use with this laptop.

• The speaker system isn't great but if you have headphones or a Bluetooth speaker it will work great. Otherwise the volume on the laptop isn't that great.
