I think you can use battery saver programs to save power
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is only a 2 cell battery, its not going to have loads of life in it anyway...If you want staying power you will need a lot more cells in a battery. Do some google researching about the best batteries for laptops and how many cells they have. I think my last had 9 or 12 cells. Also Remove the battery if you are plugged into a outlet while operating. The machine is trying to charge the battery over and over and over and it will ruin it very fast...Always remove the battery if you are in a wall outlet...That 2 cell isn't a great battery but will last a lot longer if you take care of it

The Lenovo IdeaPad 130-15 laptop ships with a 2CELL 30WH, Lithium Polymer battery, with a battery life of up to 4 hours, depending on the work that the device is performing. You can maximize battery life by limiting background programs that run on the device and, to maximize battery life, try changing your power management setting to a more conservative one. You can do this in the control panel, in the power management category on your system. Select a more conservative power management setting to extend battery life.
