There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software. This is a mid-level, moderate to heavy use laptop. It is good for Microsoft Office work and online work. Keep in mind, your online experience is dependent upon your internet connection speed and quality.

It does not come with office but Google Docs is available through Google Chrome. I am also a teacher and wish that came with the Microsoft PowerPoint Etc. Again there's different Avenues you can go to get these perks. I think this computer is hard to navigate and is very sensitive. It always goes to zoom my page and is just a little hard to work with. I'm trying to get used to it cuz I really don't want to go spend more money for a different computer. I do like that the screen is a nice size.
