If you have any doubt about whether the system is running too hot, we recommend you stop by your local Best Buy and have the Geek Squad check your system out. The normal operating temperature for this system is between 100 and 150-degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the workload. The fan will run to maintain the proper operating temperature. It will run more when the system is working hard. It is normal for the fan to run. You will be able to hear the fan run.
