As advertised it comes with 30 day trial and they offer Office 365 for $49. However, as pointed out below, your university should offer you Office 365 through your tuition fees!

The person who answered your question clearly knows nothing about computers. No this does not include Microsoft Office. That is a separate product that you have to purchase. It can be costly. Consider using OpenOffice instead. That can open Microsoft documents.

There is a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 10 operating system. In order to keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.

You can pay a little more and have that added to the computer but don't. Any of the universities offer Microsoft Office for free for students
