“The only issue I have is that I'm a little hard of hearing and have the volume turned up all the way but it is quieter than my last PC. I can hear it but would like to know if I can turn it up the volume further.”

No you can't turn up the volume beyond the allowable settings; however, you might want to consider and external, portable, blue tooth speaker since that could be used with this laptop and may provide you with the sound level to which you are accustomed.
