• Yes it comes with Microsoft Office, but it is a trial version. So you will need to purchase a license for it. I am not sure on how many days before it expirers.

• LibreOffice is a good, free alternative to MS Office. I've installed it for the wife and in-laws. I only use MS because I get it for $10 through work.
