• There are three different way that you can open them on a Chromebook. The first is to open Microsoft documents in Google docs, although there are some limitations, as the file maybe converted. Two, if you have a Office 365 subscription, you can open them using the Office.com website, but this is using the online version of Microsoft office. Third, you can download the Android apps for Word, Excel and so on, but there are limitations on those apps as well.
