• Just open up the Chromebook so the top and bottom backside halves fold against each other and rotate the Chromebook 90 degrees so you are looking at it like a book.

• The screen auto rate should work automatically from the factory. First, check in settings under accessibility, that the "Auto Rotate" feature is checked. If that is not the issue, it is possible that a recent Chrome OS update may be causing the failure. Try restoring your Chromebook back to original settings to correct this issue.
