• You should. I have an HP Officejet 4630 that is at least 5 years old, and it works great. You will have to download an HP plug-in for printing.

• That will depend on the compatibility of the older printer to the Google Cloud Print APP you will need to use to print from a Chromebook. We recommend you check with the printer manufacturer for compatibility with Google Cloud Print APP.
