“One thing I noticed is when this laptop is being charged, you'll see white light near the charging socket. But even if the laptop is fully charged, the color of that light does not changed. It is still white. Any idea?”

It stays white no matter if its charging or just plugged in. You can tell when its done charging by looking at the bottom of the screen where the battery sign is and see if the battery is still charging or just plugged in.
