“How do you get the built-in 9-pin serial port shown on the back panel to work? Windows 10 doesn't recognize it and it does not show up in Device Manager.”

Lenova told me to send this brand new computer in for service...even though the demo unit at the store acts the same way. Microsoft told me it was Lenova who had to supply the drivers for the com port and all motherboard functions. Any one have a real answer?

All other computers work fine with this but then the com3 port just,always showed up even if nothing was connected. This is the first time Ive come across a computer that did not recognize one of its own built in devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This port is used for serial peripheral devices like keyboards, mice, joysticks, etc. It will still work for those type of devices that are Windows 10 compatible and where the drivers for those devices have been installed.
