• The sound system is the new Dolby sound. The sound is fine but like the new tv monitors the screens are too small to accommodate large speakers. It has an earphone jack that would transmit the Dolby sound or suggest you buy an external sound bar. Actually it transmits to an existing sound bar I have mounted below one of my tv’s via Bluetooth easily.

• Yes, there is built in audio within this system. There are stereo 3W speakers on this model.
