• This system has a full-sized SD Card slot. It also has a CD/DVD reader-writer as well.

• Yes, it has a slot on the front panel that is labeled "MS/MSPro/MMC/SD/SDHC/SDXC". I have installed 2 different pieces of software via CD, it started up and executed just fine without me having to monkey with it.

• Yes, the drive will read CDs for software. THe computer does not have an SD card slot.
