Your comments cracked me up. There are many good sound cards on the market with 5.1 capability, any and all of them should function with this computer without issue. You can do this yourself and here is how. Research YouTube on how to install a sound card and watch how easy it is. Warning...unplug your desktop from the wall and press the power button 3x's, this will release any stored energy that is being held in the computer and you will not die. I've worked on hundreds of computers, but that one rule is something you do not want to break. Once you are unplugged from the wall...you are safe to install/uninstall hardware safely.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The software and processor capability for 5.1 surround sound is already built in to this system. You need to add 5.1 surround sound speakers to take advantage of this capability. They come in a variety of price ranges.
