• Yes. When you position the screen into tablet mode, both the keyboard and touchpad turn off automatically. Just flip the screen back into tablet mode to have access to the keyboard and touchpad functionality.

• So far, when I've used the keyboard in tablet mode, I have had no issues with hitting the keys on the actual keyboard. If anything, I find the keys in tablet mode moves faster, especially with using the swipe feature.
