  • QuestionWhy does this Flex 3 chromebook 82KM0003US ($109), with 64GB of storage, cost less than the Flex 3 chromebook 82KM0002US ($200), with less storage of 32GB ? It makes zero sense why the chromebook with less storage costs more? Am I missing something?

  • QuestionCan this laptop be used with an external display while charging? I don't think this can because it only has 1 USB-C port which is used both for charging and for HDMI.

    • Answer This Lenovo Flex 3 11 Chromebook, model number 82KM0003US, ships with these ports: 1x USB 2.0 Type A, 1x USB-C 2.0 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.1a) with video out, 1x microSD card reader, 1x Headphone / microphone combo jack (3.5mm) The USB-c 2.0 port has both video out and power delivery capability. If you monitor is capable of power delivery back to the computer, it will charge the computer while the external monitor is plugged in. If you are using an HDMI monitor with a USB-c to HDMI adapter with this Flex 3 11 Chromebook that does not have power delivery capability back to the Chromebook, you will need to use a USB-c to HDMI adapter with power delivery capability, to be able to plug in the Flex 3 11 Chromebook's 45W USB-C (3-pin) AC adapter/charger, supports PD 3.0, 100-240V, 50-60Hz to the adapter as well, like this one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-usb-c-to-4k-hdmi-multiport-adapter-with-power-delivery-white/5577934.p?skuId=5577934

Google Workspace is completely compatible with Microsoft Office Programs and this is a free service through the Google Server. The Word equivalent APP is Google Docs and the Excel equivalent APP is Google Sheets. If you currently have a Microsoft Office 365 Account, you can access that existing account through a Chromebook. Be sure the Bluetooth devices you are trying to pair with this Flex 3 11 Chromebook are compatible with the Chrome OS. We recommend you check with the device manufacturer's web site for compatibility with the Chrome OS. The Lenovo Flex 3 11 Chromebook, model number 82KM0003US, ships with 1x USB-C 2.0 (support data transfer, Power Delivery 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.1a) port with video out capability to an exrernal monitor. There is no HDMI port on this model. The Flex 3 11 Chromebook supports up to 2 independent displays (native display and 1 external monitor via USB-C). USB-C supports up to 1920x1080@60Hz.     • Answer yes, you can use yahoo mail via the internet. you may even be able to add it as an app if yahoo has an android one. a mouse? yes, only if it uses a USBc to connect.

You can also use a Cloud-based Storage service for additional storage space.
