A:AnswerYes out of the box there is only one RAM slot occupied. Super simple to add more memory to this computer. I had a 4gig stick lying around, popped it right in.

A:Answerit is quad core architecture, but not hyperthreading like the intel counterpart. 4 threads instead of 8. Still good value and no issues for everyday use. not recommended for serious gaming.
