“Please help! Added 8gb ram. Recognized by system/successfull. But how or can I increase the video memory not using bios(I don’t feel safe as I have not a lot of experience) I now have 12gb but only 512 mb of vram. Help?!”

To increase VRAM, you are going to have to adjust the setting in your BIOS. I suggest a Youtube video or two to learn how if you aren't sure. Only other thing you can do is a regedit that doesn't actually do the job but will essentially fake it till its likely crash. I won't even tell you how to do that, as if you don't feel confident in messing with the BIOS a registry change could be as bad or worse.
