I opened up my Lenovo, and see that both of these slots are open and available. However, be aware that the power supply for this machine is modest, and supplies a maximum of only 180 Watts. You need to carefully tally up the power already being used, and see if there is enough for the video card of your choice. Even a low end video card is going to use over 30 W. I think you are best advised to stick with the built in graphics.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When you open up the computer to reveal internal expansion slots (by removing two screws in the rear) you will see several available expansion slots. One is the short length and another is the long length, both support video cards having graphical processors on them . So in short, yes the machine supports video cards of either size. Remember to download the correct drivers for your specific video card, usually from the manufacturers web site. Remember to do this FIRST, before installing the video card. Then when you power up the computer, it should find the correct drivers and should work. PNP works IF the drivers are already there before installing the graphics card.
