Can the hard drive be replaced with a larger one (2TB)? null

Absolutely, you can either replace, or add. There is an empty SATA connection on the board, and a bracket for another drive. Alternatively, you can remove the included hard drive as you said.For example, I have an SSD for Windows, and use the included drive for my media library and device backup of my phone.
