- Answer Good question. The sizes are 8GB DDR4 RAM + 4 GB DDR4 RAM chips. This kind of memory should be plenty for the "everyday" user. But, if you need more RAM, you can boost it to 32 GBs. Either way, this is a good machine and a good purchase. Best of luck, Consultant Brian
