I just upgraded today to 16 gigs of GSKILL 2400 RAM ($58 at NewEgg). More than doubled video rendering speed. No problems whatsoever. I did put the single 2133 DIMM that came in the unit to bed though. Not good mixing speeds.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I upgraded the memory but it is DDR4, expensive, and not plug and play so be careful or you'll not be able to boot the computer up afterwards.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as it is the same type, ddr4 as in mine, it should work. If replacing the memory on the board you will get the speed increase. If adding to, the faster memory will default down the the speed of the slowest piece installed.
