- Answer Hi, Pudsy. According to HP's website support resources, it should work with the IdeaPad 1. With Windows 11 Home in S mode, you could potentially run into compatibility issues if the printer needs software that is not available in the Microsoft Store. For insight, S mode is a more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store.
