Doubtful you could do Win 7 because some of the hardware probably will not work with Win 7. You might be able to install 8, but it would probably be difficult even if it would be possible. I tried installing a new version of Ubuntu Linux, but the network adapter was not recognized. I did not see drivers for Windows 7 on their support page.
