Sales are variable, depending on many factors. Today it is available on a Deal-of-the-Day for $480, so this means the deal is good for 24 hours (1AM-1AM) of the day in question. It might or might not also have been available on a Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal, as well as the various holidays when companies typically have sales, e.g., President's Day, and non-holidays that have high traffic, e.g., Back-To-School sales. If you can wait a year or more, you might get the same, similar, or even better price some time, but I wouldn't count on it, especially if the alternative is to have nothing, or an inferior machine that is frustratingly slow. My suggestion is to keep an eye out for any PC with similar specs and rating, as this will enlarge your options, and get the one with the best price as soon as you can.
