Does it have a hard drive for DVD's and CD'S null

This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop, model number 82R4002PUS, does not have a built in CD/DVD drive. You can connect an external USB-based, Windows compatible CD/DVD drive to this laptop, like this one: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/lg-8x-external-usb-double-layer-dvdrw-cd-rw-drive-black/5852919.p?skuId=5852919

Hard drives have nothing to do with DVDs or CDs. What you mean to ask is, "Does it have an OPTICAL DRIVE for DVDs or CDs," which it doesn't. You will find that internal optical drives in new computers are very rare, if not non-existent, so you will need to: 1) Buy a separate, external drive; 2) Buy an older/refurbished laptop; 3) Start using flash drives and memory cards, like everyone else.

You do need have a portable dvd drive. I have one made by Dell. It works fine if you connect through one of the usb ports.
