Hey, steff. First, yes, you can connect your phone to your IdeaPad to get texts and even notifications. Here's a link to a Microsoft webpage to learn more (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/sync-across-your-devices?r=1) about what you can do one your devices are synced and how to do so. This process can also be activated during device setup. Second, based off the system requirements that are listed on this EA (Sims 4 game publisher) help webpage (https://help.ea.com/en/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/the-sims-4-system-requirements/), this IdeaPad should be able to run Sims. It doesn't have a dedicated graphics card as recommended, but so long as you don't raise graphic settings in game it should be fine.
