“I'm looking for a laptop to send emails, used Word/Excel, maybe stream programs, no gaming. Is this a good choice and is 16MB of memory sufficient? I'd like it to be light, a touchscreen and at least 15-16". Open to suggestions. I am a Best Buy member.”

This laptop would be more than enough for your needs. It handles even light gaming and photo/video editing pretty well.
