“I'm wondering whether this computer can run MS Office products when not connected to the internet?”

As long as you remove Windows S Mode (just Google how), and you install a copy of MS Office on the computer (not the online/cloud version), which will probably require an external USB CD-ROM/DVD drive (or an internet connection to download), you will be able to run MS Office applications without an internet connection.

This Lenovo IdeaPad 1 15 Laptop, model number 82R1006VUS, ships with a 30-day trial of Microsoft Office 365 included as part of the Windows 11 operating system, that is available offline as well as online. To keep the program active after the trial period, you will need to purchase a product key. You will not need to download any additional software.
