- Answer You can check almost any type of e-mail from this computer. There are several e-mail apps you can use, in addition to, or instead of Gmail. You'll need a Gmail account though to login into the computer though.

- Answer You can't use the Chrome System off line. The whole concept is based on connection to the "cloud". All programs are on the Google Server, in the "Cloud".
