• Hi Jill, Thank you for your inquiry. The system comes with 8GB of memory soldered to the systemboard and 1x 8GB SO-DIMM DDR4-3200 memory module. If you wish to expand storage, for example, you could swap out the 8GB SO-DIMM memory for 16GB and have 24GB of memory. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

• Yes, by adding a 24GB module. Or you can max out by adding a 32GB stick, for a total of 40GB (source: crucial.com).
