“I've read so many reviews that mention the "gaming" aspect of this laptop. Is that basically all it's good for?”

I bought one for my wife to do everyday basic internet browsing and and other light duty computing...it does this with ease...If someone is using it to do gaming then that means it can handle just about anything you can ask of it as gaming requires a much more expensive computer....i do hope this helps...
