“Hi, Fingerprint scanner isn’t working at all. I am using Windows 11. I had set up all my ten fingers but it is still doesn’t recognize any of them. Kindly provide a simple workaround to get the fingerprint scanner to work? Thanks in advance!”

• Model 82H801DQUS does come with a fingerprint scanner! I double checked if the biometrics is enabled and it was. So far the fingerprint scanner is working once again all I did was disable it and re-enrolled ONLY one finger.

• First make sure that the feature is enabled, then try wiping your finger with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol. If that doesn’t work you might have a hardware defect. Follow up with Best Buy and or Lenovo.

• The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H8018SUS, does not ship with a fingerprint reader.
