By now im in ove with this laptop. Light and Fast. Im using it for basic tasks such as studiyng and surfing the web. - It comes with win 11 and im loving it so far. - The sound isnt the best but is decent and its good for me and is better than other more expensives laptops. - Beautiful desing and materials looks and feel premium. The only con is that it get stuck with fingerprints. - Love the Keyboard and the backlight. - Battery life could be better, but you know....is a laptop and i think is better than HP battery life. - LOVE the touch screen and the gestures in the mouse touchpad. -Display looks amazing for this range of price. -The price is the best thing of this monster. -Other thing i dont like is the charger connector, once its plugged to the laptop, it get stuck hard ando you have to pull harder than usual....so you have to be carefull....is not a deal breaker though... Overall Love this laptop...and for the price....is a monster machine Amazing display, construction and design. Sound and battery life could be better but is not the worst... The only big con...as i said...is the charger plug...and as i said before is not a deal breaker

Be prepared, laptop arrived today and Microsoft s mode is on by factory default, until s mode is turned off you will not have access to any app that is not in the Microsoft Store. You also will not have access to CMD or Powershell or a majority of any "admin" type of applications even those already installed. That being said, Microsoft has a way to turn s mode off, however it doesn't work. You will get to the screen and hit the "get" button to install the whatever to disable s mode and you'll get a blank screen or an error message. According to the forums this is a common issues with new posts about the issues dated today 1/04/2022 and many from further back dates. At the moment until Microsoft resolves this issue the laptop is a $600 after tax paper weight to me as I needed it for 3rd party applications for tuning cars and other basic not Microsoft stuff. Again with that being said I did use the computer to surf the web and try to find back door work arounds for the issues and will say that the laptop is actually pleasant to use, the keyboard has a nice audible click to it that isn't too loud but is loud enough to get a confirmation of the keys being tapped, the backlit keyboard is nice and has three modes (off, low, high). The fingerprint scanner is a nice touch for a (budget) laptop, touch pad and touch screen seem to be pretty good from what i've used it, touchpad has swipe gestures for scrolling but the click is a little weird feeling to me which will probably just take some getting used to. Weight wise the laptop is pretty light however it does feel somewhat durable. It appears that the laptop has two speakers on the sides, they seem pretty good so far, I actually went to youtube and listened to a few songs before adding this part, don't expect bass from little side facing speakers. Performance wise this thing appears to rock, boots pretty fast due to the ssd installed, and watching the task manager a little bit everything I was doing so far didn't come close to using but around 25% of the ram, granted I assume boot speed and ram usage will go up as I get to use the programs I want to run and not the dumbed down Microsoft ones. All in all so far I want to give the computer a 9 out of 10 rating for itself, granted that could change with some use but hey first impressions am I right, operating system for what I need is a 3 out of 10 and that's being generous due to the fact I cannot do anything extra on this that I cannot do on my phone or iPad so it feels like a waste of money until Windows fixes their issue

More pros than cons. The display is ok for a FHD but it’s not what I expected. Keyboard lights up. Great for working in the dark. The speed is cool, has touchscreen and the fingerprint scanner is dope. The cons are the battery drains fast like a refurbished item but I purchased brand new. Feels cheap. Plastic casing. Windows 11 installed. Can’t go back to 10. The price is equal to the build. Gave 3 stars because of battery and plastic casing. Doesn’t feel like a premium built item per the specs.

Last, year I purchased a 15" HP laptop for $679.99 with 12 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 processor and it has been a nightmare. You'd think it would be plenty fast for normal use considering the specs, but you'd be wrong. It froze all the time doing simple tasks like surfing the web, watching videos, or using social media. Sadly, HP support was horrendous. Wait times were long to speak with someone and when I finally did, the issue was still never resolved. This Lenovo 15 " laptop has almost the same specs, except it has an Intel Core i5 processor, which should be fine as long as I don't run too many tasks at the same time. Regardless, I was skeptical considering my experience with the HP. Well, I am happy to say it is an amazing laptop. It runs so smoothly, with no lag, and I am able to do everything with ease. On top of that, I got it on sale for $449.99!! I was also able to trade-in my crappy HP for $230.00, which is by far the best offer I found online. I would definitely recommend this laptop, but keep in mind the price point. Of course, there are laptops with way better specs and build quality, but they're also 2-3 times more expensive. It's only been two days, but I love this laptop! Lenovo just may have stolen my business from HP for future purchases.

This is one amazing lightweight power house! Don’t let the price scare you away. We are in an era where affordable tech is mainstream and by no means lacking performance. Don’t be discouraged by benchmarks, most of these comparisons are by machines of a different class and or category. See photo included this machine is capable of way more then even an advanced or expert users opinion. Lack of experience and understanding cannot be qualifications for an expert review. With over 30 years of personal computing experience with both pc and mac I can assure any potential buyer that this a great laptop made by a brand that has tailored it’s products for all types of users. The complaints about cosmetics and the plastic bottom have no baring on performance. Unless of course you are the type to throw or slap the device when it doesn’t do what you want, well then in that case maybe this ain’t for you… I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about this product. I’ve had it for a few hours and already put it through the ringer some pretty intensive resource demanding software. But don’t take my word for it, if you try it and don’t like it you can always return it! Thank you Lenovo for another awesome product!

I just got this today and have it all set up. I will edit my review when I've had it long enough to give a meaningful review, but wanted to say that, per a prominent review, I was prepared to struggle with Windows 11 S mode, but happily found that my laptop is Windows 10 and is NOT in S mode, so know that you may not have the issue the other reviewer did. I have never purchased such a low-priced laptop and was really nervous about what I would get; again, it's quite early in the game, but so far I'm very, very pleased. Set up has been smooth and I like the laptop a lot at this point; the laptop is light but feels solid. It has a nice, smooth keyboard, and a number pad that's a bit downsized to fit the space. I like a large number pad, but appreciate the downsizing as it lets overall length of the laptop be a bit shorter. I also appreciate that the num lock key has a little light that shows when it's on - very nice as it can be frustrating to be banging out numbers only to find the num lock isn't on. My current laptop barely fits in my carryon luggage, so I appreciate every inch shaved off! I struggled to find how to turn the backlit keyboard on, but a quick trip to the Lenovo site to download to user manual solved that. The only issue I've had is closing the Microsoft Edge window. I prefer Chrome and have it installed as my default, but the Edge window that came up initially would not close. A quick trip to the Task Manager to end the task solved that pretty quickly. While I admittedly haven't used it much yet, the fingerprint reader has always said it can't read my fingerprint and to try another finger. However, just leaving my finger on the pad another second and it accepts it readily.

One feature that is NOT mentioned on this product description is that this laptop has a finger print security reader and its the same as the power button (picture attached). This is a perfect laptop for Business or school work. I purchased 2 of this laptops for our medical practice because they are light weight, have the latest Gen intel processor (11th Gen), they have a fast SSD for storage, and has a very responsive touch screen which allows the patients to sign consents on the device instead of using paper consents and forms. setting up the computer is like setting up any windows laptop where you follow the instructions and you will be done in a few minutes. this laptop doesn't come with a lot of bloatware. I totally recommend this laptop for any business, school work and it is going to last for a few years before you have to replace it.

I purchased this laptop for a number of reasons. It is lightweight, the keyboard lights up, it has lightening fast speed and good battery life. I prefer the ten-key pad on the side as well as across the top and the feel of the keys while typing to say the least. The salesperson mentioned that it didn't have the best high definition or resolution but that's ok with me as I didn't buy it for viewing videos or movies exclusively. Also I really don't see the difference.

Pretty good performance overall, other than the fact the charging port stopped working after 2 years. The cameras also pretty bad.

I’ve only had it a few weeks, but so far I love the device itself. It’s light, attractive, has all the features I want (backlit, touchscreen and good resolution). The only caveat is the internet browser. It’s Microsoft and I prefer Chrome.

Started a small business and did some research on the best laptop. Didn't know what to get so ended up trying this and 1 year later I can honestly say that was the best decision ever.

I'm really impressed with this laptop. Very glad I picked this up to replace my old laptop. The fingerprint scanner is a nice added touch. Overall pretty fast laptop. Speakers could be better but I never bought this to listen music or watch videos on. Love the matte screen. It's pretty sharp. The batter life is pretty good on this unit.

I am really loving this laptop. It is a lot thinner and sleeker than I had expected. I love the lighted keypad. When I opened it it immediately prompted me for the Windows 11 update. I had the actual Microsoft Surface Go and it had still not been updated yet. This laptop came with 12g of RAM. Wow! This was great for the price. Here is a video of it. https://youtu.be/xd0iDZgDTFw

Top notch tuff! Kids have used and abused this laptop for over a year now and not a problem.

Nice budget laptop, My only gripe is the 8gb + 4gb memory configuration. Cannot upgrade the memory either seems to have a heat cover over it. Palm and keyboard area, and top of laptop have metal covering but the underbelly is plastic. Feels more durable than HPs comparable model.
