Great laptop! I bought this laptop for my father for Christmas. Was replacing an old hp laptop that the screen failed on. This laptop is super fast and is better than my own laptop. He is very happy with this laptop

I like the laptop so far. In the process of unboxing and setting it up but I am concerned about the charging cable. The connection does not feel secure at all. The adapter sticks out and wiggles at a touch. Even when connecting, on inserting the plug it feels like the slightest shift of the laptop will knock it loose. It stops at the indent seen in the photo below and the rest sticks out from the port. It does not feel very secure and I'm concerned about it snapping or bending the pin inside. I'm going to try to reach out to Lenovo or stop into Best Buy to clarify. If this is the design then I'm stuck with it, but this seems very unstable compared to all other laptops I've owned. If I get and additional information I will update and amend the review.

Absolutely horrible. Within a few weeks the laptop would not turn on. Waited a few weeks and it finally turned on. Thought I was in the clear. Then again randomly laptop would not turn on. After troubleshooting and online boards I found that this is called “black screen of death”. The laptop would power on but screen remained black. The power light was flashing and the keyboard would pop on here and there but still a black screen. No hint of the screen even trying to turn on. Bought 2 of these laptops (one for me and one for my wife) and BOTH of our laptops are experiencing the exact same issues.

Great computer perfect for students enough memory for a few years

the screen frame starts to separate after a few months. The laptop is great, but it falls apart. I ordered another one but this time I got geek squad protection.

This laptop exceeded my expectations. First Lenovo and will definitely get another one.

Nice laptop, but not even a month in and half of my screen is grey not what i expected for the price of this laptop what a disappointment!

This laptop works like a charm. Touch screen functions well. Good amount of storage space. Battery life is good if you're not spending too much time on the laptop (3-4 hours when using it but can last for days in sleep mode). One of my favorite functions is lighting up the keyboard whenever I want to use it at night and don't want to use the room lights. The other is connecting the laptop to the TV via HDMI cable to play my games. The laptop's battery charger cord is not very long but it charges pretty quick. Laptop is not heavy either. Great screen size. My only take away is that it doesn't come with its own stylus pen, but you won't find a lot of good art apps from Microsoft but it's all good.

One of the least expensive and best budget laptops that has 11th gen i5, iris xe graphics, 12 gb RAM, ssd, touchscreen FHD and fingerprint reader. The materials do not feel cheap at all for the price. Buying this laptop at this season's price is a no-brainer!

I got this laptop because I wanted a budget-friendly computer for my small business (therapy practice). After using it for a month, I'm quite satisfied. Performance and speed fit my needs. The most resource-heavy thing I use it for is video meetings, and I haven't had any issues. The built-in camera provides great picture quality without needing to buy an external webcam. I love the fingerprint scanner! The laptop starts up quickly. Battery life has been excellent. Windows 11 is fine - a little different than Windows 10 but not a huge learning curve. I had no issues switching from S-mode. The keyboard is very comfortable to type on and I like the built-in multimedia keys and number pad. The touch screen is a nice feature, though not as useful as I'd hoped, since it doesn't seem to work with my Surface pen. My biggest complaint is the touchpad. It's positioned left-of-center, which means that I have to reach over at kind of a weird angle to use it, and I end up hitting the right-click often when I don't mean to. I didn't have any issues with plugging in the charger, but the shape of it is kind of weird and bulky. Otherwise I'm satisfied with this laptop.

This is one of my favorite computers so far. I love the back-lit keyboard, the touch screen is very responsive, it's fast even when I have a lot of programs up and running, and is very versatile. The only area that could use some improvement is the battery life.

My teenage daughter saved her money for months to buy herself this laptop. Excellent performance and she was able to play all her online games without any speed or storage issues. Unfortunately the charger port disconnected and couldn't be repaired, she was heartbroken. If it was still in stock, I'd buy it again!

I did a lot of research on Lenovo laptops before honing in on this one. I liked the Core i5 processor with 12mb of RAM combo at a great price. The Best Buy salesperson congratulated me on getting the "latest & greatest" from Lenovo, validating my choice. The performance is lightning fast, the display is OK, not terrific and the keyboard "feel" is wonderful. In my opinion, you're getting a $750-$800 laptop at a significant price discount. I'd pounce if I were you, I am glad I did. FWIW, I use mine for MS Office business applications off my job and also for Internet searches. Getting Windows 11 off of S restriction was a breeze, so you can obtain Google Chrome.

Loved this computer. Only complaint is not making the hinges better supported. After about a year i had one of the hinges trying to pop the entire base of the computer opened. I got it fixed but then the same thing happened on the other side. It scratched a piece of the board off and the battery couldnt recieve power. Had for just under 2 years. Bought the newer version and was severely disappointed with the downgrade in features. Taking it back after a 3 weeks of issues.

Battery drains fast. Screen is not great. For the price it is a decent laptop. Touch screen is a nice feature. I like that it has a built in camera blocker. I wish that the hard drive was larger, but for SSD it is ok. Windows 11 sucks. Overall the laptop works for the things that I use it for. Fingerprint reader is ot very good. Keyboard is nice. The mousepad locks up sometimes and needs to be turned off and on again, touch screen comes in handy for this when it happens. Speakers are not great but good enough for basic things like watching videos. Boots very fast.

Absolutely LOVE Lenovo's and this laptop is one of the best I've had. Performance is top notch as well. Great quality for the best price.
