I got it at Black Friday pricing and am extremely pleased with its performance. Blows out all the competition in its tier by offering superior build quality and top-notch performance. I was surprised to notice a fingerprint scanner also present which I didn't really see mentioned on the product features page. The screen is so bright and offers very good color range with incredible viewing angles(note that this is an IPS display). Overall super satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend anyone to blindly go for this laptop over the competition at this price range.

I bought this Lenovo and it is light, fast, and has an awesome screen. Her old PC took a long time to boot and this one is FAST! For normal things like web browsing and email it is very fast but it really shines with it's video capabilities. With full high definition 1920x1080 resolution, movies look fantastic. She watches a lot of movies and everything from high light to low light to fast action look awesome. The speakers are good, not great, but she wears her high end headphones when watching movies. I have recommended this laptop to 4 of my family members and several co-workers. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Purchased on sale as a small business/personal computer. Touchscreen, 11th gen i5, backlit keyboard, 12gb memory, etc. Meets employee and personal needs at a reasonable price point. I found similar specs for laptops to be overpriced so Thanks Lenovo for this one!

I love windows 11. This battery is terrible!!! After 2 days it would not charge above 98%. Now it will not charge above 84%. This is not acceptable! I need to use it as a laptop. I need to be able to use it with a full battery. I have read other reviews that give it a low score on battery life. Mine is the same. I guess I should not complain too loudly as I only paid $450. But it would be nice to have a decent battery. The battery life when using the computer is not very good either. So if you are expecting to use this without being able to plug it in don't get it. However, if you can get access to a plug when using it by all means buy it. especially if you can get it on sale!!

Posted .We are sorry to hear that you are having issues charging your Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 laptop, model number 82H801DQUS, to a full 100 Percent battery capacity. Try letting the battery charge level drop below 50 Percent, now plug the charger in to the computer and the battery will charge to a full 100 Percent capacity. The Windows 10/11 operating system installed on this laptop has Battery Saver Software that protects the battery from over-charging, by discontinuing charging the battery after battery capacity reaches 100 Percent. When the laptop remains plugged in after reaching 100 Percent battery capacity, the Battery Saver software stops charging the battery until the battery level falls below 90 Percent. The battery will then trickle charge. If the laptop is being used while trickle charging, the workload may exceed the charging level and the battery level may go down while in use. To charge at normal charging speeds, let the battery capacity drop below 50 Percent then plug in and charge. But the sale price on this one was compelling. The screen is a notch better than the dell with the same processor. The camera privacy slider is a great idea. Plus the backlit keyboard. All those are a notch up from the dell. But the drive did go into a recover sector mode. I’ve only had it for 3 days. So that is a concern. Then when I registered it, Lenovo says the warranty is only until September. I bought it in December. I have never needed a warranty on a notebook. For what it’s worth, the HD drive companies don’t provide their normal warranty on an OEM. I got bit by that once. The battery life seems a bit less than a dell. But it charges faster. The power supplies are a different rating.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Laptop, model number 82H8018SUS. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode 64-bit Operating System installed. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Even if you have switched out of S-Mode, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.
