I just bought this laptop and it does not stay fully shut down. Why is that? I hate leaving a laptop charged 24/7 but with it still having power will the screen is closed after hitting the shut down mode, it's draining the battery when unplugged and close null

It sounds like a defect. Mine closes perfectly without any trouble whatsover.

if you're just closing the laptop, it foes into sleep mode. You have to completely power down. if its still not completely shutting down, bring the laptop unto to be checked
