• I turned off S Mode because it wouldn't let you load apps or install things. but it doesn't affect the workings of the lap top. S mode limits things you can do on it. out of Smode you get the whole working of windows 11

• A positive feature of S mode is that a number of processes deemed unnecessary will not be running. As a result, the laptop will boot a little faster, run a little faster, and have a little longer battery life. Try it for a little while and then make the decision whether to stay on it or not.

• Yes. It will work normally without performance degradation. The only drawback is that you won't be protected from "bad" apps. Always scan before installing.
