“The laptop I received came with the Intel i5 9300h and not the 9300HF. Data specs on the Best Buy Website and from the responses of the Lenovo expert state it should be the 9300HF. Did I receive the wrong CPU? Can someone verify ?”

DO NOT RETURN YOUR LAPTOP! You got last year's model with integrated graphics as well as dedicated, meaning you will save a LOT of battery life than if you got the correct one. In addition the charger is different and I (believe) yours has higher wattage (135W).
