• The advantage of laptops is in having the power supply on the outside. This means that as long as you can find a power adapter that will work in the area you are in and delivers the correct voltage, wattage and amperage to the notebook, plus the barrel tip physically fits and has the proper polarity, you never have to worry about local electrical supply limits.
