The same reason that Best Buy waited a year longer than other sellers to carry any version of the Legion 5 Pro. They had, and have, other products that they have a surplus of allowing for more profit. I got the 3070 version you are referring to for $1070.00 from you know where 10/21. If you like eggs you can find it there too.
