Hey, we're sorry to hear that you're having this issue with your Legion. Let's try to resolve this immediately. Here's some steps to follow to help resolve your issue: 1. First, ensure that the AC adapter or charger for this unit is plugged in and indicating it is charging the device by the LED next to the charging port being illuminated red (charging) or white/green (fully charged). 2. Once you have made sure the device is getting power through the charger, yet it will not turn on, power off the computer, as this system is equipped with The Novo Button – a feature used to help users with a few options, including resetting your PC. 3. There is a small pin hole on the bottom right side of the device, first in line before the other ports on the right side. You will need a pin (a sim ejector tool or end of a paperclip should suffice) to push this reset button. 4. Push the reset button. The system should boot to a choice screen where you can choose to reset your computer. Select this. It will delete everything from the hard drive except the original factory install of the operating system. You will need to reinstall all programs and files after the reset. Here is a link to the pdf of the user guide for your Legion with more details on the Novo Button, as well as alternatives to get to the menu if you cannot access the Novo Button: (https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/lenovo_legion_7i_16_9_ug_en.pdf) Should you need further assistance, please reach out to Lenovo Support here: 877-453-6686, so we can continue to assist you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds to me like you may have fried your Laptop. Games can cause the Laptop to run really hot. Never place your Laptop on your blanket in bed, your Mattress, or on your lap. This will block the fans and fry your laptop. It sounds to me that this may have happened to you. If you must play games in bed, then I would get a Laptop Cooling Pad, and place the Laptop on that while you play in bed. They are only around $20-30 dollars, but they can save your $2000 dollar Laptop. Even still, mine fried after two years, because I didn't open it up and notice all the dust inside that had built up and blocked my Laptop fans. So, it is a good idea to remove the back panel after a few months and blow it out with Canned air. Maybe even more often if you have pets. While playing games, especially in bed, it is a good idea to have the cooling pad fans on. Also, you don't want to block the fans, so make sure that you have open space all around your Laptop. You can get small cooling pads that will fit in a backpack along with your laptop. I would never place a Laptop on a Mattress, a Blanket, or your lap, especially while gaming. Always use a flat hard surface to place your Laptop, and get a Laptop Cooling Pad if you like to game a lot. Finally, never leave your Laptop on while it is in your backpack for the same reasons. Sorry this happened to you.
