Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have an extra empty ssd slot. Lenovo says 1 TB maximum but I have a WD Black 2 TB sitting in mine without any issue. I suspect they are concerned about additional heat generation with the higher density SSDs. No room for a built-in heatsink on the SSD when installed so make sure you get a "normal" / "bare" one.
